Long Responses:

1. I do think the fires in the Amazon are a big issue. The Amazon is one of the most beautiful places in the world and is filled with so many plants and animals, the fires are destroying all of that. The Amazon also produces 70% of the worlds oxygen which is a huge problem.
2.  I believe in certain situations like these, leaders should not be able to refuse help. But otherwise leaders should be able to control their own land and accept or refuse help from others.
3. I'm not very surprised that America hasn't offered any help yet. Under the 45th president, America has gotten to be represented as a lazy and spoiled country. It is very typical that we have not helped yet and I believe if it was 5 years ago we would have rushed to help right when we caught wind of what was happening.
4. I very much believe the U.S should help. We should always be helping others and in a situation like this, having each other as a human race is more important then ever. I also believe the Amazon fire is the humans' fault so we should start treating the earth with more kindness starting with helping out with the fires.
